A recent statement by BJP MP and actor Arun Govil has sparked a nationwide debate on security, equality, and transparency at religious places. Speaking on public safety, Govil reportedly said that if CCTV cameras are installed in major temples to ensure security and monitor activities, similar surveillance systems should also be considered in mosques and other places of worship. According to him, the idea is not meant to target any particular community, but to promote equal security standards for all religious institutions across the country. 📹
