Captain Priya Adhikari, Nepal’s first female helicopter captain and a high-altitude rescue pilot, has flown nearly 100 rescue missions in just six days following catastrophic floods and landslides along the Nepal-Tibet border. Working in severely affected Himalayan regions, including Timure in Rasuwa district, she has been navigating dangerous valleys and unstable terrain to reach those in need.
