Story that caught my eye: Rs 500 crore for Mumbai upgrade given by BMC to MLAs, all funds according to an RTI finding went to ruling party MLAs in Mumbai , nothing to opposition MLAs! When will civic body realise that this money is TAX PAYERS, mine and yours, city belongs to EVERY Mumbaikar. You can fight each other electorally, BUT how can you discriminate between govt and oppn areas on civic project fund allocation . Are tax payers funds a carrot to get MLAs to switch sides? This story tells you all that is wrong with contemporary Indian politics. Worth reading
