Bill mandates that the Govt will collect 10% of the income of temples that have revenue of more than Rs 1 crore.
BJP says this is like Jizya Tax against Hindus by Congress âš¡
Congress said it will be used for dharmic parishad purposes.
Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa : "Collected funds will be used for another purpose. Why state Govt was only collecting revenue from Hindu temples and not other religious structures."
