Modi Government has formulated the New Industrial Development Scheme, Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme, 2024 as a Central Sector Scheme for development of Industries and generation of employment in the states of North East region.
The main objective of the scheme is to generate gainful employment, leading to the overall socio-economic development of the region. It will create productive economic activities in manufacturing and service sectors.
