“Mawlana Imam Ja’far as Sadiq ع, the son of Imam Muhammad al Baqir ع, son of Imam Zain al ‘Abidin ع, son of Imam Husayn ع, son of Ali ibn Abi Talib , ibn Muhammad ع, was born on the eighth 8th of Ramadan in the year 83 AH/702 CE. His mother Fatima ع was the daughter of al Qasim ع, great granddaughter of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq ع. He was a master in exegesis of the Quran, a scholar of jurisprudence , and one of the greatest scholars qualified to give legal decisions in Madinah.
