Meerut, UP: Mohd Mehboob brutally beat a 9th-grade minor girl in an alleged one-sided love affair. When the video of the incident went viral, the police arrested him.
While being taken for a medical checkup, he snatched a police officer's pistol and fled. During the chase, he fired at the police.
In self-defense, the police fired back, injuring Mohd Mehboob in the legs.
