A brilliant afternoon at Newton-le-Willows Village Hall, meeting residents and hearing more about the fantastic range of local clubs and community activity taking place.
From the cricket club and climate change group to the newly formed Quoits club (with freshly installed pitches!), it was great to see how many people are getting involved in village life.
The Village Hall, along with the community-run bar, is a true hub kept running by an amazing team of volunteers who give their time to make sure it remains vibrant and welcoming for everyone.
Thank you to Susan and the trustees for the warm welcome, and to everyone who came along. This is what strong, connected communities look like.
