In 2009, both engines of US Airways Flight 1549 failed after a bird strike. However, Captain Sully and co-pilot Skiles calmly landed the plane safely in the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 people on board. This incredible rescue is still known as the 'Miracle of the Hudson'.
