A total of 21,591 people have been reported missing in Delhi as of November 15th this year, of which 13,072 are women and 8,519 are men. Delhi Police has released this data.
Police say that women and girls continue to constitute the majority of missing persons, and 60 percent of such cases registered till mid-November involve missing women and girls.
Police data shows that the number of missing persons as of October 15th was 19,682, with 1,909 more cases added in a month, a 10 percent increase.
An additional 1,155 women and 754 men reported missing in this one month.
