In a small, conservative town in central India, lived a quiet Hindu family. The daughter, Priya, was a bright college student who loved her books and her traditions. But for months, a local boy named Sameer had been harassing her. Every day on her way to college, he would follow her, pass lewd comments, touch her inappropriately in crowded places, and send vulgar messages late at night. When she protested, he would laugh and say, "Convert to Islam and marry me, or I'll make your life hell. Your Hindu gods can't save you."
The threats escalated. He started threatening to leak her morphed photos, to harm her family, and repeatedly pressured her to c****e her religion, promising "peace" only if she accepted his demands. Priya felt trapped, scared, and humiliated, but she didn't tell anyone at first, fearing shame and family backlash.
One evening, the harassment crossed every limit. Sameer cornered her near her home, grabbed her arm forcefully, and whispered, "Tomorrow you come with me for nikah, or I'll burn your house with your family inside." Something inside Priya snapped. She ran home in tears, her heart pounding with fear and rage.
Her father, a retired army man, kept a licensed pistol at home for protection. That night, while her parents were asleep, Priya quietly took the **** from the drawer. The cold metal felt heavy in her trembling hands, but the memory of daily humiliation burned stronger.
The next morning, when Sameer waited for her at the usual spot with his usual smirk, Priya approached him. Before he could speak another filthy word, she pulled out the pistol and fired—three shots straight into his chest. He collapsed instantly, blood spreading on the ground. People screamed and ran; someone called the police.
Priya stood there, still holding the smoking ****, tears streaming down her face. She didn't run. She waited for the police, saying only, "He wouldn't stop. He wanted to destroy me and my faith."
