Pakistan and Russia have taken a significant step toward improving bilateral relations by agreeing to strengthen direct land and air connectivity to boost regional trade and economic activity. The decision was taken during a meeting on the sidelines of the OIC Transport Ministers’ Conference held in Istanbul. Pakistan’s minister Abdul Aleem Khan met with Russian minister Dmitry Stanislavovich Zverev, where both sides discussed expanding transport cooperation.
