The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has decided to name a stand at Wankhede Stadium after Ravi Shastri, honoring his contributions to Indian cricket as a player, captain, coach, and commentator.The Level 1 Stand, located below the press box, will bear Ravi Shastri's name following approval at MCA's Apex Council meeting on February 27, 2026.
This recognizes his Mumbai roots, 80 Tests, 150 ODIs, and coaching successes like India's historic Australia Test wins
