The Karnataka High Court has allowed a limited number of Hindu devotees to perform Maha Shivratri puja at a Shivling located within a dargah complex in Aland town of Kalaburagi district.
The petition was filed by Siddaramaiah Hiremath, seeking permission to offer prayers at the site known as the Raghav Chaitanya Shivling. The court granted approval for worship under strict security arrangements, similar to the order issued the previous year.
