In the film Dhurandhar 2, the character #hamza was not a fictional creation of the director but based on a real person. It was revealed that he had actually been in POK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) and even got married there. At one point, he was nearly exposed, but a girl saved him. He had given her a significant amount of cash.
Colonel Bhupinder Shahi shared the story of the real Hamza, sent by India to Pakistan. While speaking, Bhupinder Shahi said, “The hero of Dhurandhar is an ex-sol****r.” He took out his mobile phone and added, “This was my Dhurandhar, and he’s back here. I spoke to him just half an hour ago. He spent at least 3–4 months in POK. His job was solely to stay in POK, and he brought back valuable data and intelligence.”
