Senior journalist Ravish Kumar on social media posted a satirical note titled “Duties of Unity in Times of Crisis”, listing a series of ironic instructions such as buying bicycles, walking instead of using vehicles, keeping mobile phones wrapped in plastic and storing basic food supplies like sattu and firewood.
The message appeared to mock official advisories and public responses during emergencies, while also criticising electoral practices. Kumar concluded the list with a pointed remark that those who had accepted money in exc****e for their votes would now have to bear the consequences of their decision.
