India is in the grip of an intense heatwave, with scorching temperatures set to persist over the coming days 🔥

Across many regions, the mercury has already surged past 40–43°C, and forecasts suggest it may climb even higher, nearing 45°C in some areas.

As per the India Meteorological Department, the spike is being driven by clear skies, dry winds, and the absence of western disturbances, accelerating the rise in heat.

Several locations are already witnessing temperatures 4–8°C above seasonal averages, signaling an unusually harsh start to summer.

States including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and parts of the south are facing the brunt, with multiple cities under heatwave alerts.
