John Ternus is the incoming CEO of ****le, succeeding Tim Cook later in 2026. John Ternus is an American engineer and executive who has served as ****le’s senior vice president of hardware engineering since 2021, overseeing the hardware teams behind the iPhone, iPad, Mac, AirPods, and other devices. He joined ****le in 2001 on the Product Design team, became vice president of hardware engineering in 2013, and steadily took on broader responsibility for ****le’s key product lines.
