A day after a storm with wind speeds of 109 km/h and 11.4 mm of rainfall, light showers accompanied by thunder continued on Thursday morning, adding another 0.5 mm of rain. The sky remained cloudy from morning till afternoon. Although the sun appeared later in the day, it stayed mild.

Due to the rainfall, increased humidity caused a sharp drop in temperature. Within 24 hours, the maximum temperature fell by 11.3°C, settling at 30.3°C, which is about 10°C below normal. The minimum temperature also dropped to 22.8°C, 1.2°C below normal. As a result, the weather in Varanasi turned pleasantly cool, making it one of the most comfortable in the state.
