The TVK government led by Vijay has successfully Won the floor test in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.
The government secured the support of 144 MLAs, while the Opposition managed only 22 votes.
A major political development emerged as 22 rebel AIADMK MLAs reportedly voted in favour of the trust motion despite the party whip directing them to oppose the government. BJP also extended support to the motion, while DMK staged a walkout during the proceedings.
