Today, Col B Santosh Babu, Maha Vir Chakra, and 19 brave sol****rs of the Indian Army who made the supreme sacrifice on 15 June 2020 during Operation Snow Leopard in Galwan Valley.
On the night of 15 June 2020, while ensuring that the agreed disengagement process was being followed, Indian troops came face-to-face with hostile Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley. What followed was a fierce and unprecedented clash in the treacherous Himalayan terrain, where Indian sol****rs fought with extraordinary courage despite overwhelming odds.
Led by Col Santosh Babu, the brave sol****rs stood firm in defence of the nation's honour and sovereignty, displaying unmatched courage, determination, and devotion to duty.
