On the occasion of the 66th Independence Day of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, an Indian Army Marching Contingent arrived on an @IAF_MCC IL-76 aircraft and participated in a spectacular military parade held at Abidjan on 07 Aug 26.
The GoI was represented by the Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh, MoS for External Affairs and Environment, Forest and Climate C****e.
The contingent was Commanded by Maj Sandeep Dhillon and comprised of 60 officers and other ranks of the Regiment of Artillery.
The invitation to the Indian marching contingent by the Ivorian government is a testament to the growing #defencecooperation between India and Côte d’Ivoire.
