India’s National Security Guard has launched its first Mahila Commando Conversion Course, a 12-week intensive programme to train women personnel from State Police Forces and CAPFs in specialised counter-terror operations. From weapons and marksmanship to tactical intervention and hostage rescue, the initiative aims to build a stronger pool of women commandos and take specialised NSG training back to forces across the country.
