Ranbir Kapoor is preparing to explore two vastly different characters in his upcoming films Ramayana and Love & War, showcasing contrasting shades of his acting.

In Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, Kapoor portrays Lord Ram, a character associated with calmness, righteousness and dignity. Reports also suggest that he will appear as Lord Parshuram and Lord Vishnu, adding further dimensions to his role in the mythological epic.

He takes a very different route in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, where he plays an Indian Air Force officer caught between love, duty and personal conflict. His reported first look features a rugged vintage appearance, complete with a thick moustache, blood stains and a bullet wound.

From portraying a revered mythological figure to an intense military character, Kapoor is set to present two dramatically different sides of his screen persona.
