From humble beginnings in Indore to becoming one of Hindi cinema’s most beloved comedians, his journey was as remarkable as the characters he played. 😄

His partnership with filmmaker Guru Dutt gave au****nces unforgettable comic moments in films such as Pyaasa, C.I.D. and Aar Paar. Interestingly, although he often portrayed a drunkard on screen, he was a teetotaller in real life!
