Rahul Gandhi has once again challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take part in an open debate over allegations of foreign support and influence.
Taking to X, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha asked people whether they wanted to see the two leaders face each other in a direct debate. He also launched a poll with two options: “Yes, Modi Ji, Daro Mat” and “No, Modi Ji, Dar Gaye.”
Both options carried a political message, with Rahul taking a direct swipe at the Prime Minister. While “Daro Mat” means “Don't be afraid,” “Dar Gaye” suggests that someone is scared.
The challenge comes amid an ongoing political war of words between the Congress and the BJP over allegations of foreign connections and influence.
Rahul's latest move has once again sparked discussion on social media, with the spotlight now on whether Prime Minister Modi will ever accept his challenge for a face-to-face debate.
