3 medium boiled potatoes (mashed)
ΒΌ cup corn flour
1 tsp chaat masala
Β½ tsp black pepper powder
Β½ tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp green chilli paste
Β½ tsp salt (or to taste)
2 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves
For Slurry
ΒΌ cup all-purpose flour (maida)
1 tsp chilli flakes
ΒΌ tsp salt
Water as required (to make a smooth slurry)
For Second Coating
Β½ cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs
Oil for deep frying
π Method (Step by Step)
Mash the boiled potatoes well and add cornflour, chaat masala, black pepper powder, chopped green chillies, salt, and coriander leaves. Mix everything nicely.
Take a small portion of the mixture, place cheese in the center, and shape it into a smooth ball.
In a bowl, prepare a slurry by mixing all-purpose flour (or cornflour), a pinch of salt, and water to make a smooth batter.
Dip each cheese-stuffed ball into the slurry, ensuring it is well coated.
Roll the coated ball in crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs for a crispy outer layer.
Deep fry in hot oil until the balls turn golden brown and crisp.
Remove and serve hot β crispy outside, cheesy inside, ready to enjoy! ππ§
