βͺοΈWorld Parkinsonβs Day is being observed today across the globe to raise awareness about Parkinsonβs disease, a neurodegenerative disorder.
βͺοΈThe theme for this year is βBridge the Care Gapβ. The day aims to educate people about the condition, promote early diagnosis, and advocate for improved care and research.
βͺοΈAIIMS will organise several awareness programmes, including a walkathon and public outreach events on 18 and 19 April.
