Srikanth Odela and his bloody visual sense!

A year ago watching 'Dasara' in theatre was quite powerful, telugu cinema is known for mass-masala movies but only a handful of directors actually have a strong visual sense in capturing the proceedings with some fascinating detailing/designing so that the shots actually register in the audience minds.

After years I saw a director in Telugu cinema in the form of Srikanth Odela who got that inventive visual sense, the kinda very strongly felt, piercing imagery he achieved in 'Dasara' made it outshine its writing flaws, mad props to Sathyan Sooryan too for making it possible that strikingly.
Easily 'Dasara' is one the finest looking movies of Telugu cinema, the atmospheric feel that I got then from experiencing the dust-filled 'Dhoom Dhaam Dosthan' Song on the big screen is still alive in my senses. It was just remarkably shot.

Glad Nani is making another movie with this Man, and I hope it will be another bigger banger!

The mad fun that 'Madgaon Express' supremely serves makes it a hilarious riot of the year.
Kunal Kemmu's desi 'Hangover' flourishes with great physical comedy, aided by quirky characters, and the craziness with which the movie explodes especially in the second half left the audience hardly losing their widened grins.
Pratik Gandhi was excellent as Pinku, his character takes surprising turns and he eats the screen with this live-wire energy that makes one's jaw pain out of laughs. Divyendu as Dodo maintains the humour balance in the drama with great ease.
I loved the sound effects of the movie, they amazingly enhanced the banters/puns, it reminded me of Rohit Shetty's 'Golmaal' series, where every joke has some reference to some weird things and sounds related to those references played in between convos, they used to make the scenes ridiculously entertaining and Kunal managed to get that superbly here.
'Madgaon Express' is as wacky as a film of the crime-comedy genre can get, it's terrific and everyone should experience it for the way it makes one go completely bonkers! 💚
