नाम राम को अंक है सब साधन हैं सून।
अंक गएँ कछु हाथ नहिं अंक रहें दस गून॥
अर्थात: राम-नाम की महिमा का वर्णन करते हुए तुलसी बाबा कहते हैं कि इस संसार में केवल श्रीराम का नाम ही अंक है, उसके अतिरिक्त शेष सब शून्य है। अंक के न रहने पर कुछ प्राप्त नहीं होता, परंतु शून्य के पहले अंक के आने पर वह दस गुना हो जाता है। अर्थात् रामनाम का जाप करते ही साधन दस गुना लाभ देने वाले हो जाते हैं।
