इसी कड़ी में, वर्ष 2023 में ‘सांसद खेल-कूद प्रतियोगिता’ जैसा अनूठा आयोजन किया गया। यह आयोजन प्रधानमंत्री जी के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर 17 सितंबर को प्रारंभ हुआ और 25 दिनों तक चला, जहां 1 लाख 11 हज़ार से अधिक युवा प्रतिभागियों ने विभिन्न खेलों के माध्यम से अपनी प्रतिभा को निखारा। प्रतियोगिता की अपार सफलता तथा प्रधानमंत्री जी के मार्गदर्शन एवं मुख्यमंत्री

जी के सानिध्य से हमें एक कदम आगे बढ़कर ‘सांसद महिला खेल-कूद प्रतियोगिता’ का आयोजन करने की प्रेरणा मिली।
विगत माह 24 फरवरी को अमेठी लोकसभा में शुभारंभ हुआ ‘सांसद महिला खेल-कूद प्रतियोगिता’ अपने आप में एक विशेष आयोजन इसलिए भी है क्योंकि यह ‘Women-Led Development’ के संकल्प का धरातल पर साकार रूप है। खेल प्रतियोगिता में अमेठी लोकसभा के 17 ब्लॉकों स्थित 136 न्याय पंचायतों में नारीशक्ति ने अपना दम-खम एवं प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया।
आज अमेठी लोकसभा के सभी पांचों विधानसभा में अलग-अलग स्थानों पर इस प्रतियोगिता के निमित्त आयोजित, समापन समारोह में शामिल होने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ। मुझे यह बताते हुए खुशी हो रही है कि 1,30,255 महिला प्रतिभागियों के साथ अमेठी की नारीशक्ति ने इस आयोजन के जरिए अमेठी का नाम ऊंचा किया है। प्रतियोगिता का हिस्सा बनने वाली सभी बेटियों, बहनों एवं महिलाओं को ढेरों शुभकामनाएं।
