A lot of people would not recognise Acharya Balakrishna if Baba Ramdev wasn't in the same frame. He's the man behind #patanjali's success, though Ramdev is the face of the brand.

Yesterday I heard an interesting story, narrated by a participant at the seminar I was attending. (#adgully #cmoscharcha)

Satish Shukla from #addverb, a robotics company with zero clients and a string of refusals (clients had certain mindsets about Indian companies), managed to meet Balakrishna and did a sales pitch for his untested product.

Balakrishna said yes, and Satish almost fell off his chair. The deal was worth $2 million US dollars. He stuttered, gulped and said "But I don't have any clients, you will be my first client."

And Balakrishna replied, "If we don't do this for an Indian company, who will?"
