राष्ट्र की प्रथम महिला शिक्षिका
बात जब देश की आधी आबादी की आती है तो कहा जाता है की संविधान ने महिलाओं के अधिकारों की रक्षा एक पक्षीय की है।
बात एक पक्षीय क्यू है उसके लिए हमे अतीत में जाना होगा और सोचना होगा उस समय ऐसी क्या परिस्थिति थी।
जब इस देश मे सावित्री बाई फुले ने जन्म लिया( नयागांव सतारा महाराष्ट्र) 3 जनवरी 1831 को तब महिलाओं की सामाजिक स्थिति बहुत ही दयनीय थी और अधिक यदि महिला दलित हो।
9 साल की उम्र में उनकी शादी 13 वर्ष के क्रांतिकारी महात्मा ज्योतिराव फुले के साथ हुई।
उनकी पढ़ने की इच्छा को देखते हुए महात्मा ने उनको पढ़ाया ।
उन्होंने उस समय महिलाओं की शिक्षा ग्रहण करना धर्म विरुद्ध समझा जाता था ऐसे वक्त 1848 में स्कूल खोला सभी वर्गों की महिलाओं के लिए।
जब वे स्कूल जाते थे उस समय महिलाओं उनके ऊपर पत्थर और गोबर फेकती थी।
उन्होंने सतीप्रथा, बालविवाह जैसी कुरीतियों के खिलाफ काम किया।
वे समाज मे व्याप्त गैर बराबरी के खिलाफ थे।
इसलिये उन्होंने महात्मा फुले द्वारा स्थापित सत्यशोधक समाज मे साथ काम किया।
उस समय दलितों के लिए उन्होंने अपने घर के पीछे कुआ खुदा था ताकि वो साफ पानी पी सके।
महिला स्कूलों के साथ साथ उन्होंने विधवाओं , बैसहरा औऱ बाल वधुओ के निराश्रित गृह की भी स्थपना की थी।
1890 में महात्मा फुले की मृत्यु हुई तो उन्होंने समाजिक बंधनो को नकारते हुए उनकी चिता को अग्नि दी।
1897 में जब प्लेग महामारी फैला थो वह उनकी सेवा में लग गये सेवा के दौरान वो उस प्लेग की चपेट में आ गए औए उनकी मृत्यु गयी।
आज महिलाओं को जो अधिकार और समानता मिली है वो केवल एक या दो साल का संघर्ष नही है सावित्री बाई फुले ,महात्मा फुले बाबासाहेब और जयपाल सिंह मुंडा जैसे महान व्यक्तित्व के लंबे संघर्षो का परिणाम है।
आज उनकी जयंती है।

इतने मेडल लेकर आए है हमारे देश के लिए जब ये मेडल लेकर आते है तब ये देश के बेटे बेटिया बन जाती है। अपने हक़ की अवाज उठाये तो ये सिर्फ़ जाट क्यों इतना दोगलापन भाई यहाँ तक आने के लिए बहुत मेहनत करनी पड़ती है। अगर राजनीति करनी होती तो ये आवाज़ नहीं उठाते सीधा आते ही राजनीति ज्वाइन कर लेते और किसी सीट से चुनाव लड़ लेते लेकिन इन्होंने अपने भाई बहनों के लड़ा और अपना सब कुछ दाव पर लगा दिया।
