बहुतों को शायद ये पता न हो कि दरगाहो मे एक बेड़ी बाँधने और काटने की रस्म होती है। दरगाह मे जाकर मन्नत माँगने वाली लड़की के पैर मे काले रंग के धागे से बेड़ी बाँध दी जाती है।

ये बेड़ी कथित मन्नत के पूरा होने पर दरगाह मे जाकर खादिम से कटवाई जाती है, तब जाकर वो लड़की बेड़ी कटवाकर मुक्त होती है।

ये मजारों के खादिमों का नया टंटा है, जिसमे अधिकतर हिन्दू लड़कियां दरगाहों पर बेड़ी बँधवा रही हैं। इसकी शुरुआत कलियर शरीफ से हुई थी... यह भोली भाली हिन्दू लड़कियों को फ़साने का टोटका है जो बहुत हद तक कामयाब हो रहा है।

आजकल हर छोटी बडी दरगाह मे यही बाँधने काटने का धंधा चाल रहा है। पैर के पास जहां पायल या धागा पहनते है उस जगह पर मंगल ग्रह का निवास माना जाता है और मंगल ग्रह को काली चीज पसंद नही इसलिए काला धागा पैरों में नही पहनना चाहिए। इससे अशुभ हो सकता है।
मैंने कई लडकियों और लेडीज के पैर में ऐसा धागा देखा है पर तब मुझे पता नही था कि ये धागा किसलिए है। मैंने सोचा कि फैशन होगा। यदि आप ऐसा धागा पहने किसी लडकी को देखें तो उसे समझाएं। वर्ना वो भी अगली "श्रद्धा" बनने की राह पर है और फिर सूटकेस में पैक होगी।

परंतु फिर भी कुछ लोग पैरों में काला धागा बांधने के पीछे अपने अज्ञानता पूर्ण तर्क देते हैं,
