इसकी शुरुवात महाराजा सवाई राम सिंहजी के समय, नाटाणी हवेली मे 1866ई० मे की गई थी।
यह फोटो संभवत: राजपुताने के इतिहास में महिला सशक्तिकरण साक्ष्य हैं, की भारत से तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति शंकर दयाल शर्मा की पत्नी भी इसी विद्यालय की छात्रा रही हैं।
मात्र 3 बालिकाओं व 2 शिक्षिकाओं से शुरू किया गया यह विद्यालय वर्तमान में 1500 से अधिक बालिकाएं हैं।
