Indian Railways has announced an important update for passengers booking immediate tickets. Earlier railways c****ed online immediate ticket rules on December 1, 2025. OTP verification was required for immediate booking. There, now the Indian Railways has c****ed the rules for instant tickets (window instant tickets) available at the reservation counter. Railway is now going to launch system to issue OTP-based immediate tickets at ticket counter. Railways has taken this big step to make the immediate ticket system more transparent. That's being said this new system will be implemented in the next few days.

Due to technical fault in Chennai Metro's blue line, train from Vimco Nagar Depot stopped in tunnel between Central and High Court stations. Due to power outage, passengers had to walk about 500 meters in compulsion to reach the High Court station.
