भारत में 13 से 19 जनवरी 2025 तक खो-खो का पहला वर्ल्ड कप नई दिल्ली में आयोजित होगा। इस आयोजन के लिए उत्तराखंड से तीन खिलाड़ी चुने गए हैं: महिला वर्ग में हल्द्वानी की अंजू आर्या, और पुरुष वर्ग में ऋषिकेश के अभिषेक त्रिशूलिया और लक्ष्मण ठाकुर। ये खिलाड़ी स्कूल स्तर से खो-खो खेल रहे हैं। वर्ल्ड कप में 24 देश भाग लेंगे, जिसमें 16 पुरुष और 16 महिला टीमें होंगी। प्रत्येक टीम में 18 सदस्य होंगे, जिनमें खिलाड़ी, कोच, मैनेजर और सपोर्ट स्टाफ शामिल होंगे
