सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर अदिति भारद्वाज ने 28 जनवरी को हैदराबाद में आत्महत्या कर ली। वह मोहम्मद अली के साथ लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में थी।

अली ने उसका धर्म परिवर्तन कराया और उसका नाम बदलकर अज़िया फातिमा रख दिया, उसे गर्भवती करने के बाद उसने अपने धर्म की एक अन्य महिला से शादी कर ली।

उनके दुखद निधन के बाद, अदिति के भाई सागर ने पुलिस में आत्महत्या की सूचना देते हुए शिकायत दर्ज कराई।
