Madhavendra made history by winning gold medals in all three categories at the Asian Under-10 Chess Championships held in Bali, Indonesia on 21 October 2022. He scored gold hat-trick by defeating players of 22 countries and raised India's tricolor high.
Madhavendra qualified for this tournament in the All India Chess Federation National Tournament held in Jammu in April. Their moves from there to Asia became a puzzle for the opponents. They have 1630 rating points so far after this win. It takes 2400 points to become an international master and 2500 points to become a grandmaster, and the fastest he's moving forward, not far away when they'll be counted into India's youngest Grandmasters.
Madhavendra is not only an excellent player but also as serious in stu****s. Their story proves that passion determines success, not age.
