RCTC ने रेल यात्रियों के लिए एक नई सुविधा शुरू की है। इसका नाम ई-पेंट्री सर्विस है। इस सेवा के जरिए यात्री सफर शुरू होने से पहले ही अपना खाना बुक कर सकते हैं और यात्रा के दौरान अपनी सीट या बर्थ पर खाना मंगवा सकते हैं। फिलहाल यह सुविधा 25 ट्रेनों में शुरू की गई है। यह सेवा उन्हीं ट्रेनों में मिलेगी, जिनके टिकट में खाना शामिल नहीं होता या जिनमें ऑनबोर्ड पैंट्री की सुविधा नहीं है। इससे यात्रियों को सफर के दौरान खाने की परेशानी नहीं होगी।
