ਮੇਜਰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨੀ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਟਰੈਕਟਰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੌਂਕ ਸੀ ਇੱਥੋ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਕੇ ਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਖੇਤ ਟਰੈਕਟਰ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਟ੍ਰੈਕਟਰ ਤੇ ਮੇਜਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਗਾਣੇ ਹੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ, ਮੇਜਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ, ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਸੰਦੀਦਾ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ, ਫੇਰ ਮੇਜਰ ਜੇ ਆਪ ਟਰੈਕਟਰ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਤਕਰੀਬ ਅਦਾ ਘੰਟਾ, ਮੇਜਰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨੀ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਹੀ ਸਾਦਗੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗਦੀ ਸੀ, ਸਟਾਰ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਣ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਵੀ ਓਹਨਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ ਸੀ, ਮੇਜਰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨੀ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੋਤਿਆ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ।
