Aamir Khan launches Carry on Jatta 3 trailer; says, 'I would love to do a Punjabi film'

Aamir Khan graced the trailer launch of Gippy Grewal's film Carry On Jatta 3 in Mumbai. The actor was seen performing bhangra, matching steps with the background dancers at the venue.

Kapil Sharma who was also present at the event said, "There is so much diversity in our country, so many languages are spoken. A creative person, be it a writer, director, or actor can be born in any part of our country that has so much talent. And good cinema should always be promoted."

When Aamir was asked if he would ever follow in the footsteps of Bollywood veterans like Dharmendra, Raj Kapoor and others who also acted in Punjabi film, he said, "When it comes to me, if I like the story, I will do the film irrespective of the language. If I really love it, I will learn the language and do the film. The stars that did Punjabi films in earlier times like Raj Kapoor, their first language was Punjabi. For them it was natural to speak in Punjabi. For us it will be a bit of an effort. Punjabi is not my first language, but I would love to do it given a chance."

Carry On Jatta 3 also stars Sonam Bajwa, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Binnu Dhillon, Nasir Chinyoti, Jaswinder Bhalla, BN Sharma, and Karamjit Anmol. The film is directed by Smeep Kang, who directed Carry On Jatta in 2012.
