The COAS met Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), Hon'ble CM #sikkim & assured all support from #indianarmy in the ongoing relief operations. CM #sikkim, while sharing his condolences on losses suffered by the soldiers, also thanked #coas for the effective Civil-Military coordination in dealing with the situation. The #coas also interacted with soldiers deployed in forward areas of #sikkim and commended them for their dedicated efforts in service of the Nation & commendable role in saving the lives of civilians affected by the calamity.

19 मासूम बेटियों के 2 कातिलों/ रेपिस्टो की फांसी की सजा पर हाईकोर्ट ने लगाई रोक

UP : नोएडा के चर्चित निठारी कांड में 19 लड़कियों के रेप के बाद क़त्ल करने वाले दरिंदे सुरेंद्र कोली और मोनिंदर सिंह पंधेर की फांसी की सजा पर इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने रोक लगाई। कोली को 13 और पंधेर को 2 मुकदमों में CBI कोर्ट गाजियाबाद ने फांसी की सजा सुनाई थी। इन पर 19 लड़कियों से रेप के बाद हत्या के मुकदमे दर्ज थे। अदालत ने इन्हे दोषी मानते हुए फांसी की सजा सुनाई थी।
