In UP's Kannauj, a 15-year-old boy was bitten by a poisonous cobra. Hearing the boy's screams, the family members and villagers beat the cobra to death and rushed the boy to the district hospital. Seeing the boy's critical condition, the doctor started treatment immediately. The cobra's poison was so strong that the doctor had to inject him 76 times in two hours. The doctor's efforts saved the boy's life. His condition is stable at the moment. He has been kept under close observation. The incident took place in Udaitapur village on Friday while collecting wood. The family members also brought the dead cobra in a bottle to the hospital so that the doctor could know which species of snake had bitten him.
