लेकिन मैं तो मासूम थी ना...

कितनी छोटी थी वो...और कितने बड़े थे उसके सपने। स्कूल की यूनिफॉर्म पर लगी धूल शायद खेलते-खेलते लगी होगी पर उस दिन उसकी थकी हुई सांसों में जो दर्द था...वो किसी मासूम की सांसें नहीं एक चीख थी - जिसे किसी ने सुना ही नहीं।

सिर्फ 10 मिनट देर से आने पर - एक 13 साल की बच्ची को ऐसी सज़ा दी गई जिसकी उसने कभी कल्पना भी नहीं की होगी। अध्यापिका ने उसे भारी स्कूल बैग के साथ 100 बार उठक-बैठक करवाया। छोटी-सी जान नाज़ुक शरीर लेकिन दिल में डर इतना कि उसने “ना” भी नहीं कहा।

कुछ मिनट बाद उसकी सांसें तेज़ होने लगीं आंसू गिरते रहे शरीर कांपता रहा पर कक्षा में कोई नहीं समझ पाया कि एक बच्ची की जान उस पल खतरे में थी।

फिर अस्पताल ले जाया गया डॉक्टरों ने कोशिश की… लेकिन मासूम दिल रुक गया।

एक गलती 10 मिनट की देरी...और एक सजा जिसने हमेशा के लिए एक परिवार की हंसी छीन ली।
