Keshub Mahindra Passes Away: महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा (Mahindra and Mahindra) के एमेरिटस चेयरमैन केशब महिंद्रा (Keshub Mahindra) का बुधवार 12 अप्रैल को निधन हो गया। वे 99 साल के थे। केशब महिंद्रा सबसे उम्रदराज बिजनेसमैन में से एक थे। हाल ही में उन्हें फोर्ब्स द्वारा जारी की गई दुनियाभर के अरबपतियों की लिस्ट में शामिल किया गया था। केशब महिंद्रा अपने पीछे 1.2 बिलियन डॉलर की संपत्ति छोड़ गए हैं।

49 साल तक संभाली महिंद्रा ग्रुप की कमान :

केशब महिंद्रा 1963 से 2012 के बीच महिंद्रा ग्रुप के चेयरमैन रहे। इस तरह उन्होंने करीब 49 साल तक महिंद्रा ग्रुप का नेतृत्व किया। 2012 में उनके रिटायर होने के बाद भतीजे आनंद महिंद्रा ने कंपनी की कमान अपने हाथों में ली। अभी वे महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा ग्रुप के एमिरेट्स चेयरमैन थे।

देश के सबसे उम्रदराज अरबपति थे केशब महिंद्रा :

बता दें कि केशब महिंद्रा देश के सबसे उम्रदराज अरबपति थे। फोर्ब्स मैगजीन ने हाल ही में जारी अरबपतियों की सूची में उन्हें शामिल किया था। इसके अलावा 2007 में अर्न्स्ट एंड यंग ने उन्हें लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया था।

आजादी के वक्त ज्वॉइन की थी महिंद्रा कंपनी :

केशब महिंद्रा ने अमेरिका स्थित पेंसिल्वेनिया यूनिवर्सिटी से ग्रैजुएशन किया था। इसके बाद उन्होंने 1947 में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा कंपनी ज्वॉइन की थी। कंपनी में करीब 16 साल तक काम करने के बाद 1963 में वो इसके चेयरमैन बने थे। तब से लेकर अगस्त, 2012 तक कंपनी की कमान उनके हाथों में रही। इस दौरान कंपनी ने दिन दूनी रात चौगुनी तरक्की की।

1923 में हुआ था केशब महिन्द्रा का जन्म :

केशब महिंद्रा का जन्म 9 अक्टूबर, 1923 को शिमला में हुआ था। उन्हें भारत सरकार ने उन्हें अलग-अलग कमेटियों में काम करने के लिए नियुक्त किया था। फ्रांस की सरकार ने उन्हें शेवेलियर डी ल'ऑर्ड्रे नेशनल डे ला लेगियन डी'होनूर अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया था। 2004 से 2010 के बीच केशब महिंद्रा व्यापार और उद्योग परिषद के सदस्य भी रहे।

करौली (राजस्थान). रौंगटे खड़े कर देने वाली खबर राजस्थान के करौली जिले से हैं। करौली जिले से होकर गुजरने वाली चंबल नदी में एक महिला ने मगरमच्छ से लड़ाई की। पहले तो उसके सिर पर डंडे बरसाए, उसकी नाक से खून निकाल लिए और उसके बाद भी जब मगरमच्छ ने उसके पति को नहीं छोड़ा तो उसने मगरमच्छ की दोनो आखों में डंडा घुसा दिया। आखिर मगरमच्छ को अपनी शिकार छोड़कर गहरे पानी में दौड़ लगानी पड गई। मामला करौली जिले के मंडरायल इलाके का है। गांव वाले अपनी बहू की बहादुरी का गुणगान कर रहे हैं। उधर पति का कहना है कि पत्नी ने नया जीवन दिया है, नहीं तो मौत तय थी।

मगरमच्छ आया और पलभर में पति को खींच ले गया

दरअसल, मंडरायल इलाके में स्थित रोधई के कैमकच्छ गांव में रहने वाले बन्ने सिंह के साथ यह घटनाक्रम हुआ। बन्ने सिंह अपने मवेशियों को लेकर हर रोज की तरह चंबल नदी पर पानी पिलाने ले गया था। वहां पर बकरियां पानी पी रही थीं। उनके पानी पीने के लिए बाद बन्ने सिंह ने हाथ मुंह धोये और पानी पीने के लिए नीचे झुका। इतनी ही देर में तेजी से एक मगरमच्छ आया और एक ही पल में बन्ने सिंह को खींचकर पानी में ले गया।
