उत्तर प्रदेश में हरदोई के संडीला क्षेत्र में एक निजी स्कूल में हुए गैस रिसाव से हड़कंप मच गया। गैस इतनी जहरीली थी कि 20 से ज्यादा बच्चे उसके प्रभाव में आ गए। बच्चों को खांसी, उल्टी और बेहोशी छाने लगी। स्कूल के शिक्षकों ने बच्चों को तुरंत स्कूल से बाहर निकाला और एंबुलेंस के जरिए उन्हें स्थानीय सीएचसी भेजते हुए प्रशासन को जानकारी दी।
जानकारी के अनुसार गुरुवार सुबह करीब 10 बजे सण्डीला के लायंस पब्लिक स्कूल में अचानक जहरीली गैस लीक होने से अफरा-तफरी मच गई। गैस का प्रभाव इतना तीव्र था कि एक के बाद एक बच्चे बीमार होते चले गए। देखते ही देखते 20 से 30 बच्चों को खांसी, उल्टी और बेहोशी छाने लगी जिससे स्कूल में हड़कंप मच गया।
