झारखंड के चतरा जिले में शुक्रवार को बेमौसम बारिश के दौरान आकाशीय बिजली गिरने से 2 अलग-अलग घटनाओं में 3 महिलाओं की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई, और 3 अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। यह हादसा पत्थलगड़ा प्रखंड में हुआ, जहां तेज बारिश और गरज के साथ बिजली गिरी। पत्थलगड़ा अंचल अधिकारी उदल राम ने बताया कि पहली घटना बंदरचुआ गांव में हुई जहां 35 साल की शमा परवीन महुआ के फूल चुनने गई थीं, और अचानक बिजली गिरने से उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। इस हादसे में शमा की 12 साल की बेटी और 55 साल की भाभी भी घायल हो गईं। दूसरी घटना जेहरा गांव में हुई जहां दो बहनें 22 साल की कल्याणी देवी और 25 साल की पूनम देवी घर के बाहर बैठी थीं। पास के पेड़ पर बिजली गिरी, जिसकी चपेट में आकर दोनों बहनों की मौत हो गई, जबकि पूनम देवी के पति संजय भुइयां भी इस हादसे में गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए।
