लद्दाख के उपराज्यपाल ने पांच नए जिलों के गठन की अधिसूचना को मंजूरी दे दी है। सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफार्म एक्स पर एक पोस्ट में उपराज्यपाल वीके सक्सेना ने इसका ऐलान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि पांच नए जिलों के गठन के साथ ही अब लद्दाख में कुल जिलों की संख्या सात हो जाएगी। इसके अलावा उन्होंने इस फैसले को शासन को नागरिकों के करीब लाने के अलावा, विकास, रोजगार और उद्यमिता के नए अवसर भी पैदा करने वाला बताया। नुब्रा, शाम, चांगथांग, जांस्कर और द्रास - इन पांच नए जिलों के गठन के साथ, लद्दाख में अब दो के बजाय सात जिले हो जाएंगे।

उत्तर प्रदेश में इस समय मौसम ने कई रूप एक साथ दिखाने शुरू कर दिए हैं। एक ओर आसमान से बरसती आग और झुलसाती लू लोगों का जीना मुश्किल कर रही है, तो दूसरी ओर बिजली कटौती, बढ़ता प्रदूषण और पानी की किल्लत ने हालात और गंभीर बना दिए हैं। अप्रैल के अंतिम सप्ताह में ही तापमान जून जैसी स्थिति पैदा कर रहा है। दिन के समय सड़कें सूनी पड़ रही हैं, बाजारों में सन्नाटा है और लोग घरों में कैद रहने को मजबूर हैं। मौसम विभाग ने कई जिलों में हीटवेव का अलर्ट जारी किया है, हालांकि कुछ दिनों बाद हल्की राहत मिलने की संभावना भी जताई गई है।

शनिवार को प्रदेश के ज्यादातर जिलों में तापमान 40 डिग्री सेल्सियस के पार पहुंच गया। राजधानी लखनऊ में अधिकतम तापमान 42.9 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया, जो सामान्य से 3.5 डिग्री अधिक है, जबकि न्यूनतम तापमान 25 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा। वहीं बांदा ने गर्मी के सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ते हुए 47.4 डिग्री सेल्सियस तापमान दर्ज किया, जो न सिर्फ उत्तर प्रदेश बल्कि पूरे देश में सबसे ज्यादा रहा। यह अप्रैल का अब तक का रिकॉर्ड तापमान है
