मोहम्मद रफ़ी (24 दिसंबर 1924 – 31 जुलाई 198 भारतीय सिनेमा के सबसे महान पार्श्व गायकों में गिने जाते हैं। उनका जन्म पंजाब के अमृतसर ज़िले के कोटला सुल्तान सिंह गाँव में हुआ था। अपनी मधुर, भावपूर्ण और बहुमुखी आवाज़ के कारण उन्होंने हिंदी के अलावा पंजाबी, उर्दू, बंगाली, मराठी, गुजराती, भोजपुरी, कन्नड़, तेलुगु और कई अन्य भाषाओं में भी हजारों गीत गाए।
रफ़ी साहब ने अपने करियर में लगभग 7,000 से अधिक गीत गाए। उन्होंने नौशाद, शंकर–जयकिशन, ओ.पी. नैयर, सचिन देव बर्मन, लक्ष्मीकांत–प्यारेलाल और आर.डी. बर्मन जैसे महान संगीतकारों के साथ काम किया। उनकी आवाज़ दिलीप कुमार, देव आनंद, शम्मी कपूर, राजेंद्र कुमार, धर्मेंद्र और अमिताभ बच्चन सहित अनेक अभिनेताओं पर फिल्माई गई।

शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा भारतीय सिनेमा के लोकप्रिय अभिनेता, निर्माता और वरिष्ठ राजनेता हैं। उनका जन्म 9 दिसंबर 1945 को बिहार के पटना में हुआ। अपनी दमदार आवाज़, प्रभावशाली संवाद अदायगी और अलग अभिनय शैली के कारण उन्हें हिंदी फिल्म उद्योग में विशेष पहचान मिली। उन्होंने कालीचरण, विश्वनाथ, दोस्ताना, नसीब, शान और क्रांति जैसी अनेक सफल फिल्मों में अभिनय किया।
फिल्मों में शानदार योगदान के लिए भारत सरकार ने उन्हें पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया। राजनीति में भी वे सक्रिय रहे हैं और लोकसभा सदस्य तथा केंद्रीय मंत्री के रूप में अपनी सेवाएँ दे चुके हैं। उनके परिवार में पत्नी पूनम सिन्हा, पुत्र लव सिन्हा, कुश सिन्हा, पुत्री सोनाक्षी सिन्हा तथा दामाद ज़हीर इक़बाल शामिल हैं। अभिनय और राजनीति—दोनों क्षेत्रों में उनके योगदान ने उन्हें भारतीय जनजीवन की एक महत्वपूर्ण हस्ती बना दिया है।

कपिल सिब्बल भारत के सबसे प्रतिष्ठित वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ताओं, संवैधानिक विशेषज्ञों और राजनेताओं में गिने जाते हैं। उनका जन्म 8 अगस्त 1948 को जालंधर, पंजाब में हुआ। उन्होंने दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के सेंट स्टीफंस कॉलेज से शिक्षा प्राप्त की तथा बाद में हार्वर्ड लॉ स्कूल से विधि की पढ़ाई की। वे भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता हैं और कई महत्वपूर्ण संवैधानिक मामलों में अपनी प्रभावशाली पैरवी के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं।
कपिल सिब्बल ने भारतीय राजनीति में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है। वे पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री रह चुके हैं और मानव संसाधन विकास, संचार एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी तथा विधि एवं न्याय जैसे मंत्रालयों की जिम्मेदारी संभाल चुके हैं। वर्तमान में वे राज्यसभा के सदस्य हैं। कानून, शिक्षा और सार्वजनिक नीति के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान को व्यापक रूप से सराहा जाता है।
