What began as a day of laughter ended in panic in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh.
At a local fair, a giant Dragon Swing snapped and collapsed while it was carrying schoolchildren. Fourteen students were injured. Thirteen of them were girls. They had come from a nearby government school, trusting that the place meant for joy would be safe. The swing broke while descending at speed.
