कालू सिंह मेहरा: 1857 के विद्रोह के दौरान उत्तराखंड के पहले प्रमुख स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों में से एक माने जाते हैं।
हरगोविंद पंत: स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे जिन्होंने 'कुमाऊं केसरी' बद्रीदत्त पांडे के साथ मिलकर स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में भूमिका निभाई थी।
बिशनी देवी: उत्तराखंड की पहली महिला स्वतंत्रता सेनानी, जो स्वतंत्रता के लिए जेल जाने वाली भी पहली महिला थीं।
